Handyman, or a cog in the machine, is someone who is just there, flowing with the flow.
She does not have her opinion, has no influence, does not strive to innovate even at the smallest of degree.
She does not dream to invent new things.
Don't mistake invention for inventing new technologies or revolutionary products. I am talking about the smallest of inventions, and innovations.
Having a business card with just your name on it, nothing else, is also an innovation.
To not be a cog, we have to take responsibility. Not just the responsibility of our actions, but also of our mistakes.
Take responsibility of other's mistakes, hold yourself accountable so they do not have to take the blame.
And when it is your turn of taking all the credit, let someone else take it.
Be important in the lives of others and you will stop being a cog in the system.
Innovate, share and help others.
